Eight Advisory was founded in France in 2009 by eight former partners of Arthur Andersen/Big 4 companies. The firm specialises in transaction services, restructuring and transformation. Alongside the Eight International Network, which has over 650 employees in more than 20 countries, we respond to the increasing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium-sized and large corporates, and investment banks.
We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Services team in Zurich as a Senior Analyst. The Transaction Services team in Zurich mainly provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services to support its private equity and corporate clients in M&A processes.
Job description
- As a fully integrated team member, you will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering Transaction Services (primarily financial due diligence in buy- and sell-side transactions) for international and national private equity and corporate clients.
- From the outset, you will take responsibility for the progress of our financial due diligence projects, and you will receive intensive on-the-job training to deepen your understanding of the mechanisms of buy- and sell-side M&A processes.

Job requirements
- Excellent German (preferably native speaker level) and professional written and spoken English
- Motivated, proactive, reliable and stress-resistant team member who is eager to take on responsibility and to work independently
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized university/ business school, preferably majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a similar subject
- Two to three years of experience working in Transaction Advisory or Audit
- Good accounting knowledge (IFRS, Swiss GAAP FER / OR, etc.) and a basic understanding of business valuation
- Excellent analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Very good MS Excel skills, ideally including financial modelling knowledge; experience with analytical tools such as PowerQuery, Alteryx and Thinkcell is a plus
