Eight Advisory was founded in 2009 in France by 8 former partners of Arthur Andersen / Big4 companies as a firm specialized in Transaction Services, Restructuring, and Transformation. Today, Eight Advisory has grown to 950+ employees (including 113 partners) in France, the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, USA (New York), Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Together with the Eight International Network, counting over 650 employees in more than 20 countries, we respond to a growing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium- and large-sized corporates, and investment banks.

In order to support our growth and expansion, our Strategy and Operations practice is currently looking for candidates (or new colleagues) with interest the energy and infrastructure sectors as well as in strategic & commercial Due Diligence. The Strategy and Operations practice now comprises more than 150 employees, with diverse backgrounds from the corporate world as well as strategy and operations consulting. We offer our customers specific solutions which are tailored to their business challenges and are executed on time and in budget.

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Strategy & Operations team in Zurich as an Intern (4-6 months):

  • You will work as a fully integrated team member within our Strategy & Operations department as an active actor for the execution of Strategic, Commercial and Operational Due Diligence (sell side or buy side) as well as Strategy projects for international investment funds and corporate clients.

  • Your focus will be on infrastructure sectors, including energy, waste, water, mobility and so forth.

  • From the beginning you will be fully integrated in delivery teams. Additional tasks include support to business development and marketing activities.

Job requirements

We expect our future Intern  to have:

  • A Master’s degree or a PhD in economics, engineering, business administration or business economics or working towards it

  • Knowledge in and appetite for the energy and infrastructure sectors is required.

  • Strong communication skills alongside demonstrated teamwork.

  • You have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and you like solving new challenges in a practical and creative manner. 

  • Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Coding capabilities are appreciated.

  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and/or German is also mandatory.

  • Eager to work on cross border assignments
