Today, Eight Advisory has grown to 850+ employees (including 102 partners) in France, the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, USA (New York), Spain, Germany and Switzerland. Together with the Eight International Network, counting over 650 employees in more than 20 countries, we respond to a growing demand for financial advice from private equity firms, medium- and large-sized corporates, and investment banks.
We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Strategy & Operations team in Cologne as an Analyst.
As an Analyst, you will:
- Collaborate in an exclusive environment to assess, plan, conceptualize, and implement M&A deals (e.g., carve-outs, integrations, Joint Ventures) and other complex business transformations (e.g., reorganizations, value creation) for national and global corporate and private equity clients
- Support various strategic initiatives and operational projects within the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to project success
- Assist in preparing detailed reports and presentations for clients and senior management
- Work closely with senior team members to analyze data, conduct research, and provide insights for key business decisions
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain hands-on experience in client interaction and relationship management
- Receive personalized coaching from a dedicated counselor for your personal and professional development
Pré-requis du poste
To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect the following from our future Analyst:
- Master's degree with excellent grades from a renowned university/business school, preferably in economics, engineering, science, business administration, or business economics
- Previous experience in transaction, strategy, operations consulting, or a related field (e.g., M&A, Strategy, Business Development) at a top-tier consultancy firm
- Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to tackle challenging projects
- Practical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Motivated, proactive, reliable, and resilient under stress
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong financial skills are a plus
- Fluency in German and English
